
-Counterfeit baby carriers and strollers tend to have thinner fabric and padding than the authentic products.
-Check zippers and buckles for the company logo. Often times, counterfeit good’s logo placement will not match the real brand’s trademark.
-If the packaging differs from the authentic product, this can is a sure sign that you have purchased counterfeit goods.
-Counterfeit baby formula tends to differ in taste and consistency. Be sure to compare the liquid with other batches before feeding it to your child.
-Be sure to contact the company if you see their products on websites other than their own. If they do not authorize the website, chances are the products are fake.
As with any other branded consumer product, it is advised to follow these basic rules of thumb:
- Only purchase from an authorized retailer
- If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is
- Spelling mistakes on any part of the product are a dead giveaway of a counterfeit
