NEWS: COUNTERFEIT CLOTHING SOLD IN CAVENDISH

A 46-year-old Quebec resident has been charged with knowingly selling counterfeit clothing.

The RCMP's federal enforcement section charged Jason Bregman, following a search conducted at Ocean Drive Clothing Co. in Cavendish on Aug 10.

During the search counterfeit shirts were seized that displayed the brand name "DC Shoes."

The accused is to appear in Provincial Court in Charlottetown on Oct. 31, 2011 to enter a plea to the offence.
