Rome, 17 July – The Finance Police of Rome have carried out an extended operation against the counterfeit market and in protection of Italian exports. Around 2 million counterfeit products were impounded including toys and clothing (including brands like Armani) imported from China. Eleven Chinese nationals have been reported. The operation is the result of a long period of investigations in specific areas of Rome. The police have found the depots where the illegal products from China products were hidden.
