The Delhi Police have detained three individuals for allegedly being involved in selling bogus medications and seized drugs valued at Rs 40 lakh from them.
Police stated that the 23 kinds of medications detained from the charged are destined to be utilized by the MCD, ESI, CGHS and DGAFMS hospitals as well as clinics.
Mr. Ashok Chand, DCP (crime) stated, "The racketeers may have stamped spurious medicines with names of different government agencies, so that people mistake them as genuine and purchase them."
